Vision Lab

Vision Lab is a unique process created by Nebo which enables women to define a vision for their own individual leadership and lives.

Women who use this process step back from the pressures of daily work and life in order to clearly think about their own personal vision and goals. Case Study:  Women

In partnership with master coach, Diane Tracy, Kate Ebner of Nebo invited eight senior executive women to a special vision retreat at the cozy Bee and Thistle Inn in Old Lyme, Connecticut in early January 2008. This experience, called “Stoking the Fires: Kindling Your Passion in the New Year,” was designed to help hardworking executives connect with their own inner fire and clarify and focus their vision of career and life for the year ahead.

Fire was the theme of the 3.5 day retreat. The event began with a festive bowl of flaming punch and fires crackled in the inn’s fireplaces as the group explored themes related to their professional development and leadership.

Highlights of the program included a private tour and candlelit dinner in the Florence Griswold Museum, a blazing bonfire with s’mores in the inn’s sculpture garden under the stars, and the creation of personal vision boards to capture the inspiring vision of each participant. Participants had the singular experience of seeing their visions enacted by the improvisational play-back theater troup, Big Apple Playback Theater – an extraordinary experience that invited each woman to step right into her own vision.

Participants took away gorgeous vision boards, ideas and plans for their leadership and lives, and a new network of supportive peers. The event included follow-up coaching for each woman to support the manifestation of her vision.
