Kate Ebner Speaks at Federally Employed Women Luncheon

On Thursday, June 24th, Kate Ebner spoke to a chapter of Federally Employed Women (FEW) at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) on the topic of Your Strategic Career: How to Drive your Own Development and Path. In her talk, Kate drew upon her experience developing talent as an SVP at Kaiser Associates and her years coaching and working with professional women.
Kate shared research about how many women aspire to the top positions in organizations, but very few actually get there. Kate explained how success can mean different things at different times and stages in a woman's life. She also shared the importance of various types of networks to women navigating the challenges of being a professional woman while also managing her personal life.
Federally Employed Women (FEW) is a private membership organization working as an advocacy group to improve the status of women employed by the Federal government and by the District of Columbia government.
