| 15-minute Breaks that Boost Productivity in a Busy Day - Have a healthy snack and beverage
- Unsalted nuts and dried fruit or trail mix
- A piece of fruit
- Raw veggies

Power bar or granola bar
- Yogurt or a yogurt drink
- Cool water from the water cooler
- Seltzer or mineral water
- Walk around the block. As you walk, be alert and attentive. Notice the people, buildings, trees, birds, and street activities. Walk at a steady, unhurried pace. Breathe evenly and with awareness as you walk.
- Take care of (personal) business for 15 minutes and allow yourself to clear it from your mind. Once
done, you will find it easier to concentrate on the matters at hand.
- Listen to a favorite song or piece of music. See if you can do this without doing something else simultaneously.
- Call a loved one and have a brief conversation
- Move your body…. Yoga stretches, jump rope.
- Write freely about whatever is on your mind – no editing
- Look… out the window, at a work of art, into the face of another person
- Breathe consciously for two
minutes. Close your eyes, place your feet on the floor and concentrate on breathing deeply. Inhale and exhale slowly and focus your attention on your breath.
