Bette George & Associates

Leadership and Life Coach Bette George, founder of Bette George & Associates, is a frequent collaborator with Nebo on projects relating to women's leadership, visioning, OD consulting and coach training.  A graduate of the American University NTL program and the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching program, Bette brings extraordinary perspective to our work.  She often co-coaches Vision Lab experiences with Kate and, drawing on her long career as an OD and Diversity consultant, Bette advises on projects related to diversity, women's leadership and executive team development.

Founded in 1981, Kaiser Associates is an international strategy consulting firm that serves as a key adviser to the world's leading companies. Kaiser Associates provides clients with unique insight based on substantive research and analysis to drive critical decision-making and solve their most pressing problems. The Nebo Company works closely with SVP Mark Stein and VP Lilith Christiansen who lead the OD practice at Kaiser to provide rigorous OD consulting projects on topics related to talent management, leadership development, culture, retention and advancement of women and other minorities.

Insight Research Group is a brand research and strategy firm that creates highly customized work for a wide range of businesses and organizations.  Insight Research Group specializes in offering tailored research projects for clients.  Insight taps into passion for learning and curiosity to offer grounded innovation in  research. Insight's high standards include ensuring that each client has a "Eureka!" experience as a result of their work. They are social scientists whose research advises major corporations by bringing the voice of the customer.  The Nebo Company collaborates with Insight Research Group when conducting research on topics of interest to Nebo and/or Nebo Company clients. 

Christine M. Wahl Consulting, LLC

We partner with Master Coach Christine Wahl on leadership coaching engagements, vision retreats, and organizational development consulting.   The founder of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching Certificate Program, Chris has been a pioneer in the field of coaching,  including most recently connecting Adult Development Theory with coaching and leadership in partnership with Coach and Educator Barbara Braham.  We enjoy working with Chris on creative projects that lead to breakthrough results for clients and rejuvenation for the executives we meet in our coaching practices.

Kelly Lewis and BOUNCE

Kelly Lewis founded Lewis Leadership Group LLC after leaving an executive career at Capital One in 2007.  She has developed an cutting edge leadership and empowerment program for middle school age kids called BOUNCE. The program is currently piloting in Richmond, Virginia.  Working closely with school administrators and faculty, Kelly is realizing her vision to provide empowering and confidence-building leadership courses to middle school children in the public schools.  In 2010, Kelly will expand her program to teach organizational leaders and educators how to bring authenticity to their work and lives through service learning as BOUNCE facilitators.  Kate Ebner is a partner in the development of BOUNCE for Leaders.  We are proud of this outstanding and original program and can't wait to see what it can accomplish for the community in Richmond and beyond.

Kayser Ridge Retreat and Learning Center

Kayser Ridge is the Xperience LLC Retreat and Learning Center located in Berkeley Springs, WV.  Located just two hours from D.C., this beautiful lodge is situated on top of a 20-acre mountain just two-miles from Cacapon State Park and 12 miles from Berkeley Springs State Park.  It has 3,000 sq. ft. of interior space and another 3000 sq. ft. of deck space for meeting, relaxing and taking in the breathtaking views from the mountain top.  Kayser Ridge is a preferred retreat location of The Nebo Company.

Lloyd Raines is a seasoned executive coach (Master Certified Coach, International Coach Federation), consultant, educator, and Principal of Integral Focus, with over 25 years of professional experience. He applies insights from the behavioral sciences, action learning, moral considerations, and integral development to help clients expand their individual and organizational awareness, capability, and performance within a global context. Lloyd supports leadership growth through coaching, dialogue, experiential learning, and collaboratively-designed practices that explore the breadth and depth of stewardship responsibilities.

Integral Focus, is a coaching and consulting practice that applies a holistic approach to leadership growth. Since 1996,  Lloyd Raines has been partnering with leaders to think more expansively and act more courageously as stewards for vital resources.  Lloyd Raines and Kate Ebner have developed a course for coaches that invites coaches to see themselves as leaders, visionaries and agents of change through the powerful questions and coaching they bring.  "Coaching for Sustainability" has debuted at the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Alumni Conference, the DC metro chapter of the ICF and at the national ICF conference in Orlando, Florida in December 2009. Kate and Lloyd plan to expand this program to provide a full-day experience for coaching CEUs in 2010 and continue to collaborate on engaging coaches in working towards a more harmonious and sustainable future.

Seven Stones Leadership 

Seven Stones Leadership, founded by Jennifer Cohen and Gina LaRoche, is a leadership and organization development consulting firm that shares Nebo's commitment to exploring and expanding the concept of sufficiency. We are excited to collaborate with Seven Stones to bring the Great Sufficiency Network to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area through the launch of a DC chapter in Spring 2010.  Seven Stones and Nebo will sponsor a workshop for non-profit leaders and fundraisers in 2010 that is focused on helping non-profit leaders draw upon available resources to deliver great successes and results in challenging times.

Eco-Coach, founded by Anca Novacici, is a Washington D.C. based company established in 2006, for corporate and residential environmental sustainability services. They assist leading organizations with evaluating, designing and implementing sustainable practices for long-term organizational success and positive environmental and social impact. Services include green business assessments, sustainability planning and benchmarking, training and education, and LEED certification support. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, as well as smaller businesses. Eco-Coach also provides residents with in-home eco-audits, educational workshops on going green, and customized workshops for specific audiences and one-on-one sessions. Anca will collaborate with Nebo for Sustainability in delivering a full range of services to clients as they envision and implement new business practices that reduce their environmental footprint while protecting their bottom line.
