Our mission is to teach, develop, and support the leadership capabilities needed for a harmonious and sustainable future. We are passionate about helping people to realize their visions through coaching, consulting, retreats, workshops and learning events. Our Name

Nebo is named after a hidden lake in the Adirondack Mountains. 

Our name refers to a lake visited by founder Kate Ebner during childhood summers. This pristine natural setting gave Kate a sense of connection and inspiration that felt like home to her. Today the name inspires us to help all people connect with their greatest potential resourcefulness, and sense of inner peace.  

We've learned that each of us has our own "nebo" -- a place that brings out the best in us. We show people how to find that place without having to go there.

nebo (Slavic Languages) means "sky. a little piece of heaven."

Our Story

Founded in 2004, the Nebo Company is the brainchild of Kate Ebner, a leading organizational strategist, change leader and coach. Kate's keen awareness of the challenges and opportunities that face leaders at the top -- along with her belief that leaders need partners, not just resources and support -- has enabled her development of a forward-thinking model for working with leaders at all levels.

At Nebo, Kate has developed a talented team of coaches, facilitators and strategists who leverage extensive firsthand experience in guiding change in corporations, educational institutions, non-profits, government, associations and organizations focused on social change. This first-hand knowledge, combined with a solid understanding of the success factors critical to effective leadership, is what distinguishes The Nebo Company.
